Property Crime in the Foothills on Monday 9/12 / Garage Door Pledge Day 16 / No Posts until Next Week

Day 16 of the Foothills Area Command 30-Day Garage Door Pledge:  Still going strong, however:  we had one report of a residential burglary committed using a garage door opener that was previously stolen.  Bring in the garage door opener when you park — the garage door opener is the key to the biggest door to your home.  No burglaries or auto thefts reported since the 30-Day Pledge began with access points being a garage door left open.

No Posts until next week:  I will be out of town at the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners 2016 Symposium.  I will not be able to post until I return next week.
