Monday’s Property Crime: Tips, Trends / Community Policing Council Meeting Reminder

Reminder:  The Foothills Community Policing Council meeting is next week — Monday, August 1st at 6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Park Community Center at 11710 Comanche Rd NE. These meetings are open to the public and the public is encouraged to attend.  They wrap up at 7:50 p.m. and are every month, the first Monday of the month unless otherwise noted.

Garage Doors:  Keep them closed!  This is a way into your home.  Start thinking of the garage door as the biggest door to your home.  Lock the deadbolt to the door that leads from the garage into your home to protect you and your family from intruders.  Be a good neighbor and alert those on the block who leave garage doors open.  Just securing your own property lowers your risk level and odds of being a victim of a car thief, burglar or intruder who wants into your home.
