New Neighborhood Watch group in the Foothills: Chaco Cliff Trail SE!

Congratulations to the newly formed Neighborhood Watch group on Chaco Cliff Trail SE.  We had a lively meeting with great participation.  Thank you to Jean K. for organizing and to Audrey G. for volunteering to serve a Block Captain.  APD Foothills and the Hidden Valley community now have 16 more home owners trained in how to safely report crime or suspicious activity to police and look out for one another using crime prevention methods.

If you want to start a Neighborhood Watch on your block, contact Steve Sink at 244-6644 to get a Starter Kit.

Chaco Cliff Trail has formed a Neighborhood Watch block in Hidden Valley. We have chosen a block captain that will be our liaison to APD. Jill Garcia and two officers from APD were present at the meeting and provided information to us regarding what we should and should not do when suspicious activity is observed in Hidden Valley. We will be getting several Neighborhood Watch signs to be placed in strategic locations in Hidden Valley. If you see suspicious activity in Hidden Valley, call 242-COPS (242-2677) for non-emergencies and 911 for more severe activity. Thanks to Jill and APD for their time. The contact to start a watch on your block is shown above.
