Daily Watch Notes: Property Crime in the Foothills on Wed. 2/18/15

Robbery to a Business:  0

Robbery at a Residence:  0

Robbery to an Individual:  1, on the 5300-block of Eubank at an apartment complex parking lot; male and female stole a female’s cell phone.  I don’t have too many details on this case, but I do recommend practicing Situational Awareness.  Try to scan the surrounding area, if someone doesn’t appear to have legitimate business in the area, leave and go back another time with a buddy or when things feel safe.  If you don’t feel safe, let the management know if you are in a parking lot, public area, etc.  Remember, don’t let cell phones and other items distract you from what’s going on in the area.  You can always call 242-COPS from a safe place and report a suspicious person or vehicle.

Stolen Vehicles:  0

Vehicles stolen while warming up:  0  Yay!  With warmer weather coming our way soon, these cases should decrease.

Commercial Burglary:  0

Residential Burglary:  1, on the 10800-block of Comanche at an apartment complex, offender entered via back window, stole prescription medication(s).  If you have prescription medications, please keep that information to yourself and don’t let people know who don’t need to know.  Prescription meds are stolen quite often for various reasons; don’t be a victim.

Auto Burglary:  0  Yay, this is terrific!
