One residential burglary on 12400-block of Loyola NE

Two auto burglaries, one on 200-block of Maxine and one on the 1700-block of Eubank

Crime Prevention Take on These Incidents:  Continue to fortify your back doors, sliding glass doors, windows at the back of your homes and make sure your gates/fences are doing the job.  Get some good lighting in the back and sides of your homes.  How do most burglars get to the back of homes to break in?  Around the side.  Trim those shrubs to enhance sight lines so neighbors and passers-by can report anyone climbing your fence or kicking in your side gates to get to the back of your home.  Lock up!  Too many residential burglaries occur via unlocked doors and windows at the back of the home.

Our auto burglaries were forced entries (smash and grab) — remove all items of value from your vehicle when you park and leave the vehicle unattended.  That includes any items with your personal information and those garage door openers!
