Operation Hope Thank You / Internet Exchange Zones / Community Policing Council Meeting Next Week / Property Crimes over the Weekend

Thank you to those who donated to the APD Chaplain Unit’s Operation Hope 2017 campaign to provide meals and toiletries to families in the Foothills over the holiday school break.  The outpouring of generosity is appreciated and the APD Chaplains are busy packing and wrapping the boxes of food and other items for our neighbors in need.  The boxes will be delivered by our Chaplains and police officers this week.

Internet Exchange Zones:  Did you know the APD Foothills Substation has two dedicated parking spots with camera surveillance for the community to do internet exchanges?  The two Internet Exchange parking spots are in our north visitor parking area and are outlined in green paint with signage stating they are Internet Exchange spots. If you like to do shopping on the internet through web sites that require you to meet the seller, come by the Foothills Substation for a little added safety during that exchange/payment process.  We are located at 12800 Lomas Boulevard NE.

The Foothills Community Policing Council meets next Monday, December 11th at 6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Park Community Center at 11710 Comanche Rd NE.
