Substation Closure Dates Next Week / Property Crime on Thursday November 16th / Operation Hope

The Foothills Substation will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th.  The substation will re-open to the community on Monday, November 27th at 8:00 a.m.

Operation Hope is in full swing – please bring new and packaged toiletries and non-perishable food items through Friday, December 1st to the APD Foothills Substation at 12800 Lomas Boulevard NE on Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 a.m and 5:00 p.m.  The APD Chaplain Unit has identified families in need who may not have three meals a day or a holiday meal over the school holiday break and we will deliver the boxes to those families in December.  The families are in our Area Command, so consider helping a neighbor less fortunate with holiday food and some toiletry items.  If you prefer to donate cash, write a check or donate a gift card where the Chaplains can purchase any needed supplies those are welcome too.  Questions?  Please contact Imelda at the Foothills Substation at 332-5240.

No posts next week — I will be out the week of November 20 – 24th, so you will not see any daily property crime posts, Trending Tuesday/Hot Wheels or other crime prevention posts.  Posts will resume when I return to the office.  Please have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
