The APD Foothills web site just reached 800 subscribers — thanks to everyone who is a ‘regular reader’ and enjoys the posts.

Reminders:  The Foothills Community Policing Council meeting will be on Monday, November 13th at 6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Park Community Center at 11710 Comanche Rd NE.  The community is encouraged to attend — these Councils are citizen formed and citizen driven.  Be a part of your community and attend these monthly meetings if you want your voice heard.

Reminders:  The Foothills Substation will be closed on Friday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day and will be back open to the community on Monday, November 13th at 8:00 a.m.

Reminders:  The APD Chaplain Unit Operation Hope non-perishable food drive is in full swing.  The Foothills Substation is accepting non-perishable food items, new toiletries and cash/checks/gift cards Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until close of business on Friday, December 1st.  Questions?  Call (505) 332-5240 and ask for Imelda.


Property crimes reported in the Foothills Area Command on Tuesday, November 7:

2 Stolen Vehicles:  12500-block of Montgomery Blvd NE, 10700-block of Prospect Ave NE.

2 Residential Burglaries:  Pinon Creek Trail SE,  1100-block of Pinnace View Dr NE.

4 Auto Burglaries:     Two incidents at the same location on the 4500-block of Morris St NE, 5600-block of Bosque Vista Dr NE, 3100-block of Jane Place NE.   Entries:  Smash & grabs (breaking windows), unlocked vehicles.  Items stolen:  DVD players, a purse, a cell phone.  Electronics and vehicle registration.  A key.
