National Security Guard Week: This week (September 17 – 23) was created as an opportunity to say “thank you” to security professionals and recognize their many contributions to our daily lives. Security officers are hard-working, highly-trained individuals who are part of our country’s network of first responders. These people deter crime, lead evacuations, provide information, work closely with local law enforcement, and are vigilant in their efforts to keep us safe in our workplaces, schools and institutions of higher education, and local communities. Thank you to our security guards in the community — we appreciate you and your efforts. Thank you Allied Universal for this information about National Security Guard Week.
