You see more than you think you do! Thanks go out to the alert passer-by and the alert observer who called APD from safe places to report two property crimes yesterday. These citizens were aware of who and what was going on around them and safely reported suspicious people to APD. The overall community was helped and APD netted a good arrest yesterday in one of the crimes thanks to citizens not feeling something/someone was quite right and called the incidents in to APD. The community and local law enforcement needs your observant eyes and ears on the block, around town and your awareness and willingness to call 242-COPS (2677) or 911 as appropriate. Call from a place where you are safe and provide the best description you can and the operator will get that information relayed to officers in the area. Thank you to all of those who serve as extra eyes and ears on the block.
