Thank you to the management and residents at the Monterey Manor Apartment community for hosting a fun annual Safety Social meeting last night. Residents were informed about recent crime trends in our area, ways to prevent being victims of crimes and it was a well attended and fun pizza night thanks to the management team’s efforts.
Property Crime reported in the Foothills Area Command on Tuesday, August 15th:
3 Stolen Vehicles: 300-block of Whispering Sands Ct SE, 12200-block of Lomas Blvd NE, 12200-block of Academy Rd NE.
2 Commercial Burglaries: 770-block of Juan Tabo Blvd NE and 12200-block of Lomas Blvd NE (same location as the auto theft listed above on that block).
3 Residential Burglaries: 800-block of Piedra Vista Rd NE, 3600-block of Inca St NE, 100-block of La VillitaTres NE.
5 Auto Burglaries: 11000-block of Vistazo Pl SE, 1500-block of Eubank Blvd NE, 1000-block of Claudine St NE, 1100-block of Chelwood Park Blvd NE, 11800-block of Montgomery Blvd NE. Entries: Unlocked vehicle burglarized in garage. One entry via breaking a window. One entry by popping the door lock. Two of five were failed attempts to steal the vehicle. Other did not have clear method of entry noted. Items stolen: Multiple credit cards, Ids, Social Security cards, EBT card and someone else’s drivers license the caller had in the vehicle. Wallet, driver’s license, credit cards, health insurance cards, gold coin worth $1,4000, 25 automatic Colt loaded with an extra magazine. Radio, Bose headphones, Blue Tooth speaker, vehicle registration and insurance documents.
