Trail heads and parks: The auto burglaries continue at these locations when hikers/trail/parks users leave wallets, purses, IDs, cell phones, etc. inside their parked cars and walk away. Criminals know these vehicles are great targets: passers-by may not notice and call police for a crime in progress, the victim is going to be out of sight for any time length from an hour to a half-day. I am reminding trails and park users to remove all items of value or things that have your personal information on them from your vehicle and carry the most important things with you in a pocket, a fanny pack or a back pack.
