Trending Tuesday / Property Crimes on Monday, June 12th

Trending Tuesday — A word about remote controls to gates at gated communities or work sites:  Please do not leave gate access remotes, access badges or fobs inside your vehicles when you park.  I noticed last week while studying our Foothills Area Command auto burglaries that these items are being stolen. When these items are stolen the criminal gains access to the entire gated community or gated work site, negating the purpose for having the secured entry and controlled access.  For security purposes do not leave these fobs or remotes or access key cards in your vehicle.
