Crime Victim’s Rights Week is coming up: The first week of April will be Crime Victim’s Rights week. Did you know that the state of New Mexico has a Crime Victims Reparation Commission? Victims of crimes may qualify for financial assistance through the Commission if:
- A victim of a violent crime
- The crime took place in New Mexico
- The crime was reported to law enforcement within 30 days (exceptions for minors, victims of sexual assault, domestic violence)
- The crime occurred in the last 2 years
- The victim cooperated fully with law enforcement

Entries: Unlocked doors, punched door lock, smash & grabs (breaking a window to access item left in vehicle).
