Two guns left in a parked, unattended vehicle were stolen in the Foothills Area Command yesterday. Please help me spread the word about this — it’s dangerous for our community and our police officers. There are remedies out there if firearm owners just do a little research and select which method works best for their own situations. Do a little homework on the ways to secure firearms at a local gun shop, the NRA, or other sources. Properly securing firearms keeps guns out of criminal hands, curious children’s hands and protects the community from accidental discharges if in an auto accident.
