Tip of the Day for National Crime Prevention Month: Keep your head up! Use your Situational Awareness skills to be more aware of who is around you and what they are doing. Is it legitimate behavior for the setting? Keep your head up and scan the area before you exit your vehicle, when walking, when leaving a store or place of business. Don’t be tempted to distract yourself with mobile devices or overload yourself with packages and bags.
