CPC Meeting / Labor Day / Day 5-Garage Door Pledge / Property Crime on Thursday

Day 5 of the Foothills 30-Day Garage Door Pledge:  It is great to see the pledges or word of the pledges from our Neighborhood Association/HOA leadership!  Thanks for spreading the word.  Since we have taken on the pledge together, I have not seen any reported residential burglaries, auto burglaries, or stolen vehicles where entry was made via an open garage door.  I hope this will hold steady through the holiday weekend. Your participation as individuals, blocks of neighbors and entire neighborhood associations is key to building awareness and stronger neighborhoods.  If you want a pledge form, come by the Foothills Substation lobby on Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. or email me at jcgarcia@cabq.gov — pledge forms were emailed to all Foothills Neighborhood Association/HOA leaders and Neighborhood Watch Block Captains on Monday, August 29th and they should be circulating the pledge forms in their areas.  The pledge ends on September 27th.

Labor Day:  The Foothills Substation will be closed on Monday, September 5th in honor of Labor Day.  I will not be here to post on the web site, so you will not see any posts until I return to the office on Wednesday, September 7th.  I hope you have a restful holiday weekend.
