Workshop Wednesdays at the Foothills is back for 2016!
I am kicking off the year with, “How to Form a Neighborhood Watch Group” for our lead-off topic for 2016. Stop by the substation on your way home from work or in between errands and learn how these groups help local law enforcement and the community, one block at a time. The workshop is geared towards those who are curious about Neighborhood Watch or want to start one or re-ignite one that fizzled out.
The workshop details are below:
Wednesday, January 13th at 5:30 p.m. All Workshop Wednesdays are one hour in length.
At APD Foothills Substation at 12800 Lomas Blvd NE.
Due to limited seating, please RSVP Jill Garcia at 323-4644 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Provide your name and a contact email address or telephone number so I can give you a reminder call or email before the workshop or move people wait-listed up in to fill cancellations.
Unless otherwise noted for special Foothills-only sessions, Workshop Wednesdays are open to anyone in our community — they are not exclusive to APD Foothills Area Command residents only. If you have an accommodation request for a disability, please let me know as soon as possible.
Thank you for your support of Workshop Wednesdays at the Foothills and I am looking forward to a great year of Workshop Wednesdays in 2016. Make it your New Year’s resolution to form a Neighborhood Watch group on your block!
