Crime Prevention Tips of the Day: We had another gun stolen from an unlocked vehicle yesterday.  Also wallets, credit cards (that were promptly used by offenders), and a laptop.  Please spread the word to remove ALL items of value from vehicles and lock up when you park and walk away.  It is very disturbing to be approaching double-digits for firearms stolen from vehicles that owners have left behind in the car.  Please bring your firearms inside with you and responsibly and properly secure your guns.  If you can’t bring it inside to your destination, don’t leave it in an unsecured and unattended vehicle.  All of these stolen firearms are now in the hands of criminals.  I hope they will not be used against our good citizens of Albuquerque or our police officers who are trying to keep you and your families safe.
