I invite you to participate here, on the APD Foothills web site, with an interactive community conversation on what makes a good neighbor or what a being a good neighbor means to you in honor of National Good Neighbor Day.
Monday, September 28th is National Good Neighbor Day. National Good Neighbor Day was established in 1978 by President Jimmy Carter per Presidential Proclamation. To get into the spirit, share your comments on what being a good neighbor means to you.
My Top 3 are:
1) Friendliness – a wave, hello or smile from a neighbor really makes my day.
2) Looking out for me. Priceless!
3) Being willing to pick up my mail and paper if I’m out of town.
I live in the Foothills Area Command too, and I love this community. Join me in sharing what makes a good neighbor.
