Robberies to Business, Residence, or to an Individual:  0

Stolen Vehicles:  1, on the 12200-block of Montgomery.

Commercial Burglary:  0

Residential Burglary:  1, on the 11400-block of Canyonlands.

When at home, lock up!  If someone is knocking or ringing your doorbell, soliciting, asking for a fictious person I want you to acknowledge your presence behind the locked door.  You can call 242-COPS (2677) to report a suspicious person in your neighborhood; just call from a safe place and provide the best description you can.  We have had home owners surprised by intruders in their homes recently.  We want you to be safe!

Auto Burglary:  3, two on the 11200-block of Montgomery, one on the 10800-block of Montgomery.

All our our auto burglaries on March 5 were discovered by victims between 9 and 11:00 p.m.  Park in well-lit and well-traveled areas when out at dining/commercial establishments.  Do not leave any items of value inside your vehicle when you park.  If possible, park where you can see your vehicle from the establishment’s window.  If you see someone loitering in a parking lot, inform the management — if it feels unsafe, leave and return another time.  Feel free to call 242-COPS (2677) if you see suspicious behavior, such as someone ‘hanging out’ in a parking lot appearing to have no legitimate business there, looking into vehicle windows, trying door handles.  APD will send an officer to check the area.
