Daily Watch Notes: Property Crime in the Foothills, Fri/Sat/Sun 2/20 – 2/22/15

Robberies:  Commercial, Residential, to an Individual:  0

Stolen Vehicles:  3.  One on the 200-block of Glenridge Park, one on 1800-block of Propps and one on I-40 near Juan Tabo ramp.  Two stolen at night in residential areas and one vehicle left on freeway and when owner returned the vehicle was gone.

Commercial Burglaries:  2.  One on 10700-block of Menaul and one on 11300-block of Montgomery. 

Residential Burglaries:  6.  One on 600-block of Gretta, one on 10500-block of Schenley Park NE, one on 14200-block of Copper, one on 1200-block of Propps, one on 3200-block of Morris, on e on 10800-block of Prospect.  Two victims arrived at their homes and saw offenders inside their homes and alerted police.  One suspect identified in a third case over the weekend.  Entry made through a garage in one of the 6 cases and another entry was through a window.

Auto Burglaries:  7.  One on 200-block of Figueroa, two on 200-block of Eubank, one on 800-block of Marcella, on on 1100-block of Summer, one on 1500-block of Tramway Service Road, one on 10400-block of San Marino.

Purses, wallets, IDs, drivers licenses, insurance papers, vehicle registrations, firearms, house keys and tools stolen from vehicles over the weekend.  Please remove all items of value from your vehicle when you park!  These incidents are crimes of opportunity and happening in big-box retail center parking lots, apartment complex parking lots and in residential areas.
