Daily Watch Notes: Property Crime in the Foothills, Tuesday, 1/27/15

Robbery/Commercial:  0

Robbery/Residential: 0

Robbery to an Individual:  0

Stolen Vehicles:  0

Commercial Burglary:  0

Residential Burglary:  1, on 11000-block of Gibson; resident’s dog scared offenders away, entered via a back door to the home

Auto Burglary:  1, on the 12400-block of Cloudview; victim’s purse, wallet, IDs, credit cards, cell phone and packet of cookies stolen from vehicle with that was unlocked with the window rolled down.

Crime Prevention Take on These Incidents:  Again, we are still seeing residential burglary entries via doors at the back of homes and still seeing needless victims of auto burglary — remove all items of value from your vehicle when you park and lock up!  The stolen credit cards and IDs can be used to commit another crime victimizing this person — ID theft.
