Daily Watch Notes: Property Crime in the Foothills on Tuesday, 1/20/15

Robbery to a Business (Commercial): 1, 13100-block of Central.

Robbery to a Residence: 0

Robbery to an Individual: 1, 1300-block of Cuartro Cerros. 

Stolen Vehicles: 0

Commercial Burglary: 0

Residential Burglary: 3; one on 600-block of Dorado SE, one on 200-block of Figueroa, one on 700-block of Juan Tabo. 

All 3 of these residential burglaries were at apartments.  2 of 3 victims say they know or named who suspects they think were involved in the burglaries.  2 of 3 were forced entries to units. 

APD has the Crime Free Multi-Housing program for owners/managers of rental properties to partner with APD to try to reduce criminal activity on property and teach crime prevention principles to management teams and residents.

Auto Burglary: 3, all 3 at the same address on the 1800-block of Christine; all 3 vehicles were left unlocked with property inside the unattended vehicles.

Once again, remove all items of value and personal paperwork from your vehicles when you park and lock your vehicles.  Also, remember to remove your garage door opener if you keep it in the car.
