Daily Watch for 9/11/14 Property Crimes in the Foothills

APD Foothills Area Command Daily Watch Notes: Property crime for Thursday, September 11, 2014

  O Robberies: No Robberies to Businesses, Persons or Residences in the Foothills Area Command

 1 Auto Theft: 1700-block of Algodones.  Keys, wallet, Social Security card, driver’s license left in vehicle when stolen

 1 Commercial Burglary: 200-block of Western Skies SE, Apartment complex maintenance unit

 3 Residential Burglaries: 12900-block of Marva, 600-block of Grace, 11300 block of Mahlon

2 of 3 entries were through open windows at the back of the homes, 1 entry through the front door.  Iron bars over window in back of home were pried open.  Jewelry, cameras, laptops, and $9,000 cash were stolen in these 3 cases

 1 Auto Burglary: 200-block of Monte Alto.  Victim’s son interrupted offender burglarizing 2 vehicles; male with a hoodie with skull on it and a trash bag in his hand, offender ran away from scene when discovered, both vehicles appear to have been unlocked.
